Lily Allen has downsized several venues on her North American ‘West End Girl’ tour and cancelled her upcoming concert in Montreal.
The singer, songwriter and actor kicked off her shows celebrating the 2025 album earlier this year with a run of theatre shows, and more recently wrapped a UK and Ireland arena trek which included the biggest headline shows of her career.
She is set to head over the pond for some North American tour dates later this year, and has now confirmed that she will be changing the locations of many of the dates to smaller, more intimate venues.
The tour is still set to kick off at New York’s Madison Square Garden on September 3, but the show in Philadelphia on September 6 will now be held at the TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann instead of the originally listed Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Dates in Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, Red Rocks, and Toronto will go ahead as usual with no venue changes, however the show in Chicago – originally set for the 23,500-capacity United Center – will now be held at the 3,500-capacity Chicago Theatre.

The date at the Kia Forum in Inglewood has been switched to the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the San Francisco show at the Chase Centre has been changed for the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, and Allen’s show at the Bell Centre in Montreal on September 8 has been cancelled completely.
A new tour date has been added for Seattle, taking place at the Paramount Theatre on September 24. Visit here for tickets.
“We have a few updates since we first announced this leg of the tour earlier this year,” Allen wrote on X. “I am so excited to say we are now coming to Seattle”.
“For Philly, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Vancouver, we’ve had to make some adjustments,” she added, clarifying that ticketholders will be refunded and “automatically entered into a pre-sale that goes live July 22”.
Allen also acknowledged the cancelled date, but did not share why the show fell though. “Montreal, I am so sad to say we tried our hardest but will not be able to make it to you this time,” she explained.
On the full run of the ‘West End Girl’ tour, Allen is not playing any of her older hits, but instead playing the new album in full, in chronological order. However, a string section called the Dallas Minor Trio is reimagining some of the star’s classic tunes in the support slot.
Recently, the singer responded to criticism of the show’s design, saying she is “extremely proud of it”.
“It’s my artistic choice not to talk to the audience, the fourth wall helps with the storytelling. Most people find it to be effective. I don’t want anyone to feel ripped off,” she shared. “Everyone on this tour is really working very hard to give people the best show we possibly can, and I’m extremely proud of it.”

Allen headlined London’s Mighty Hoopla earlier this summer, with over 35,000 tickets being sold for the event in just 30 minutes after going on sale. She was joined on stage by JADE to perform the pair’s recent ‘Beg For Me’ remix.
