A. G. Cook and Danny L Harle mark 13 years of PC Music by returning as Dux Content by announcing remastered album ‘Lifestyle’ with medieval title track

A.G. Cook and Danny L Harle have returned as Dux Content to mark 13 years of PC Music.

Cook and Harle co-founded the influential label in 2013, with their futuristic, shiny sound birthing hyperpop and inspiring the likes of Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, PinkPantheress and plenty more.

Having originally released their cult album ‘Lifestyle’ as Dux Content in 2013, one of the earliest releases on the label, the duo will present a remastered version later this year. ‘Lifestyle’ will be available digitally and on vinyl via PC Music on 10 July – pre-order/pre-save here.

Alongside the remastered album, Dux Content will also share two bonus tracks, ‘Business Class’ and ‘Rouge’.

Since founding PC Music, A.G. Cook has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Oklou, and Charli XCX. He has produced the latter’s upcoming record ‘Music, Fashion, Film‘, having executive produced her records since 2017 mixtape ‘Number 1 Angel’.

Cook also released his third studio album ‘Britpop‘ in 2024, where he spoke to NME about preserving the legacy of hyperpop pioneer SOPHIE. The producer died aged 34 after an accidental fall from a roof in 2021.

“SOPHIE is so well known within a certain bubble and so clearly valued,” Cook told NME. “But at a mainstream level, there’s still a lot of work to be done. I hope this isn’t the cut-off point where everyone delivers their tributes and goes home – hopefully it’s part of a genuine acknowledgement that will reach more people.”

Meanwhile, Danny L Harle released his debut studio album ‘Cerulean’ this year. His previous work includes Dua Lipa (‘Radical Optimism’), Caroline Polachek (‘Pang’, ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’), Olly Alexander (‘Polari’) and many more.
