The NME Magazine May/June 2026 issue is out this week – here’s how to get your copy

The May/June 2026 issue of NME Magazine is out this week – bundled with Guitar.com Magazine. Here’s how you can buy your copy.

Having first launched in 1952, NME’s last printed edition of the weekly incarnation of the magazine stopped in 2018. In July 2023, NME announced our return to print with a bi-monthly global magazine that showcases the best new artists and bands on earth, alongside exclusive new franchises, unmissable features, industry insight and expert reviews of the latest music, TV, film, and gaming releases.

Artists who have graced the print cover since include ENHYPEN, Laufey, The Last Dinner Party, Chappell Roan, Kneecap, LE SSERAFIM, Nemahsis, Oklou, Kwn, Waylon Wyatt, BOYNEXTDOOR, Rose Gray and Mon Rovîa. All editions have sold out in minutes, which is why you should mark your calendar for the May/June 2026 issue, which will go on sale this Thursday May 28 at 2pm BST. The magazine will be available exclusively online via retailer Dawsons. The waiting room is open, so check it out now.

This issue of NME Magazine comes bundled with a copy of Guitar.com Magazine. NME and Guitar.com are sister publications under NME Networks. The cover stars of both magazines are secret for now – but if you’d like hints, try our brand-new crossword.

Subscribe here for more information about the magazine and to receive an exclusive queue jump opportunity, where readers can get their hands on a copy before anyone else. NME will be sending out queue jump tickets shortly before the magazine goes on sale to subscribers of the NME Magazine mailing list.
