Bringing together, for the first time ever, the band’s acclaimed compilations ‘The Best Of New Order’ and ‘The Rest Of New Order’, the new collection features fully remastered

audio alongside an expansive selection of remixes, including many previously unreleased, by SubSub, Richie Hawtin and Joe T. Vannelli.

Released via Warner Music on July 17, it is available to pre-order here.

Both albums will also be released as separate vinyl formats with remastered audio cut at Abbey Road. In addition, ‘The Rest Of New Order’ is now available in a 3LP set and compiles all 12 songs from the CD and original vinyl release for the first time.

Released in 1994, ‘The Best Of New Order’ brought together a definitive selection of the band’s singles from 1985, featuring 7 inch mixes alongside four newly created ‘94 mixes.

The compilation featured many of their most iconic tracks, including ‘True Faith’, ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’, ‘Blue Monday 88’, ‘Regret’ and ‘World In Motion’.

The companion remix album, ‘The Rest Of New Order’, followed in 1995, re-imagining the band’s catalogue, most notably featuring ‘Blue Monday-95’, remixed by German electronic duo Hardfloor.

Both albums achieved major commercial success, reaching the UK Top Five.

Elsewhere, Peter Hook recently said he was talks for a Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame performance and says Oasis “could be the intermediaries” for a New Order reunion.

It comes after Joy Division and New Order were recently inducted into the Rock Hall as a single act for a ceremony in Los Angeles in November, following previous nominations in 2023, 2025 and 2026.

Hook played bass with Joy Division until they became New Order when Ian Curtis took his own life in 1980, before parting ways with the band in 2007.

Meanwhile, his former bandmates also expressed their delight upon hearing they had been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

They wrote: “Thank you to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. From our beginnings as Joy Division to the evolving journey of New Order, this accolade reflects the resilience across nearly five decades that has defined our path alongside our fans, our collaborators and those sadly no longer with us.

“Also to everyone who has listened, supported and continued to carry our music forward. Not bad for a couple of bands that were never entirely sure what they were doing.”

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 induction ceremony is set to take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday November 14. A recording will then air in December on ABC and Disney+.
