The rock and metal festival is returning to Donington Park in Leicestershire from June 10 to 14, at the end of last year organisers revealed that Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park would be headlining, each of them being UK exclusives for 2026.
Other big names originally announced for the event included Bad Omens, Cypress Hill, Tom Morello, Trivium, Halestorm, Pendulum, Mastodon, BABYMETAL, Architects and Feeder, and recently the line-up for the District X stage was shared featuring Five, Electric Six and The All-American Rejects.
There will also be some secret sets that will be revealed on the weekend itself, as well as sets from TokenGrass – a bluegrass tribute to Sleep Token – and a Rage Against The Machine tribute act fronted by a Nicolas Cage impersonator, titled Nic Cage Against The Machine.
Now, with 42 days left until things kick off, the full stage times have been shared, with Limp Bizkit set to play between 8:50pm and 10:30pm on Friday June 12, Guns N’ Roses playing a huge slot on Saturday (13) between 7:35pm and 10:55pm, and Linkin Park closing things out from 9:25pm on Sunday (14).
Friday also sees artists like Scene Queen, Electric Callboy and Cypress Hill on the Opus and Apex stages, while Saturday includes slots from Trivium, Babymetal, Behemoth, and Hot Milk.
Sunday highlights also include Tom Morello, Mastodon, A Day To Remember, Dogstar and Bad Omens. The latter are playing the festival for the first time since having to cancel their appearance in 2024.

Download 2025 was headlined by Green Day, Sleep Token and KoRn and also featured the likes of Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, The Darkness and Poppy.
Festival organiser Andy Copping spoke to NME in 2024 about the importance of creating a platform for new and emerging talent. “I’ve always wanted to do that, and you can see it in how we’ve been developing the other stages like the Dogtooth stage and the Avalanche,” he said.
“For us, it’s about giving bands the opportunity to grow. We’ve got the platform and we want to be sending a message to those guys like ‘Come and play. We believe in you and you’ve got a great opportunity here.’ Thankfully, for the most part, these bands do step up and they do deliver.”
