‘Heated Rivalry’ soundtrack is coming to vinyl

The soundtrack for the smash hit drama Heated Rivalry is being released on special edition vinyl and CD formats on July 10.

The Canadian drama has been one of the cultural hits of the year, following two ice hockey superstars (Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie) who are publicly bitter rivals but secretly lovers. Several songs from the show’s soundtrack have gone rival, particularly a remix of ‘All The Things She Said’ by t.A.T.u. Now, fans will be able to revisit the tracks with a new physical release.

The releases will include imagery from the series, fold-out posters, trading cards and liner notes from series creator Jacob Tierney. The soundtrack includes the original score by Peter Peter as well as needle drops from Wolf Parade, Harrison, Feist, and more.

The press release reads: “The soundtrack will be available on vinyl in two different variants – the wide Montreal v. Boston Edition and a specialty Icy Inferno Edition, available exclusively on the Milan website and select Sony Music D2C retailers.

“The Montreal v. Boston Edition features two striking block-coloured discs – Montreal Metros’ Blue/Red and Boston Raiders’ Black/Yellow – while the Icy Inferno Edition features transparent clear discs.”

It continues: “Both variants arrive as 2-LP deluxe gatefold sets and include printed sleeves, two trading cards, a fold‑out poster, and liner notes by show creator Jacob Tierney. Meanwhile, the album’s CD format features as a double CD release including imagery from the series, a fold-out poster with credits and liner notes from show creator Jacob Tierney.”

You can pre-order the vinyl here and the CD here. The Heated Rivalry soundtrack is available to stream now.
