KoRn’s hit song ‘Freak On A Leash’ has gone viral on TikTok, thanks to a new dance trend involving Zara Larsson.
Larson has seen her 11-year-old song ‘Lush Life’ have a huge resurgence online, after she invited a teenage fan on stage with her in The Netherlands last November, and the moment went viral when the 16-year-old perfectly executed the choreographed dance to the track alongside the singer.
Since then, the dance craze has taken over TikTok, with countless Zara Larsson fans performing the choreography alongside the original track.

However, the trend has also been picked up by nu-metal fans too – with some noticing that the high-pace energy of the dance seems to fit surprisingly well with the massive KoRn hit ‘Freak On A Leash’.
After a few fans began to share videos of the unconventional mash-up, the 28-year-old track has got a new wave of interest, and has been going viral as more and more users take on the dance craze.

This isn’t the first time that Larsson has got people talking online, and recently divided fans when she made a joke about abortion, and later took to social media to defend the stance.
Before then, she also jokingly scolded fans for changing her photo on Wikipedia to one that she dislikes, and said that she would never stop trying to change it back to one she prefers.
As for KoRn, the nu-metal giants recently announced a new headline tour, which will see them play across the UK for the first time in over a decade, as well as head across Europe for more shows.
Before then, they will also be headlining Sick New World alongside System Of A Down in April. Others on that bill include Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, AFI, Knocked Loose, Danny Elfman, Acid Bath, Cypress Hill, Melvins, Mastodon and Underoath.
Jonathan Davis and co.’s last studio album, ‘Requiem’, came out in February 2022, and back in December 2024, guitarist Brian “Head” Welch shared an update on new music from the band, saying it was “not gonna be soon”.
