Cardi B Says She Has ‘Reduced’ the Time She Spends Arguing on Twitter

Cardi B stopped by The Tonight Show to discuss her Little Miss Drama tour, which has sold out Madison Square Garden this week, and why she is spending less time getting into fights on Twitter.

“It is really exciting,” the rapper told host Jimmy Fallon. “But today I have been very annoyed because everybody wants tickets—40 people from my mom’s side, 30 people from my dad’s side, all my friends, friends from high school, friends from the projects, friend from the Bronx, friends from Brooklyn. I’m so overwhelmed.”

Cardi B kicked off her tour in February, which continues through mid-April. She told Fallon that fans can expect “fun” from the shows most of all. “I make sure that it’s like a party,” she said. “If I could give free liquor out I would. But I have to make some of the money back.”

She explained that the concert involves her flying over the crowd despite her being afraid of heights. She said she agreed to do it “for the plot.” “You just have to do it,” she said. “You just gotta always be over the top, even if that means risking your own life.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Cardi B discussed why she has cut back on getting into arguments on social media. “I reduced the time,” she said. “Before I would argue for like 13 hours.”

Cardi B dropped her most recent album, Am I the Drama?, in September. The album featured appearances by Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Kehlani, Megan Thee Stallion, Cash Cobain, and Tyla. The Little Miss Drama tour marks her first headlining trek.
